Next meeting is this Thursday, 3 August, 9.30 at Domain Lodge.

As stated before, we will have Dr Neil Croucher of Oral Health as our main speaker via teleconference. The subject will be the eternal problem of post treatment dental care. Oral medicine specialist Dr Kim Gear will be present at the meeting.

The Auckland campaign for World Head and Neck Cancer Day will include free screening of the head and neck on 26 and 27 July. So far we are not aware of screening in other New Zealand centres. 

Auckland Head and Neck Specialists, who operate at Mercy Ascot Hospital, are providing two screening sessions on the day before WHNCD. This will be on 26 July. The free screenings will be at their Takapuna and NorthCare branches on …

A small turnout on Thursday 6 July. The America's Cup parade was on and the weather was atrocious. Nevertheless we had a fruitful meeting, getting to know a new member of our network, Sharmayne and welcoming Marlene Evans back into our midst.

Network News - Monday 27 February 2017

as the year progresses we are working towards World Head and Neck Cancer Day on 27 July 2017. This year we are working with Ascot Mercy in Auckland over a series of events around the day. These include: A professional development session for medical and dental professionals, An education session for Mercy Ascot staff, A public lecture, Free clinics for people who have signs/symptoms of head and neck cancer.
