Our annual World Head and Neck Cancer Day Public Lecture will be held on July 27, 2017 at 6pm -8pm. Our team of enthusiastic speakers will share their thoughts on our theme for the year, “New Directions in Head & Neck Cancer.”
Our event sees patients, clinicians, service providers, family and friends coming together to share ideas, innovation and hope. It’s a really exciting event on the Head and Neck Cancer Survivors’ Support Network calendar.
This year we are holding a TedTalk style evening. Each speaker has 5-10 mins to share their ideas and make an impact on an aspect of new directions that is close to their heart. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask a few questions of each speaker. We are looking forward to some great discussion.
As you know the burden of head and neck cancer is considerable. As a Network we aim to connect, support and advocate for people affected by HNC. A key part of our role is to “give hope”, and this public lecture is an opportunity for you to share your ideas.
We are very happy to work with you to develop your talk. We suggest you watch a couple of Tedtalks to see how impactful they can be.
