Our Partners

Rare Disorders New Zealand

RDNZ is the respected voice of rare disorders in New Zealand and is the only national organisation supporting all New Zealanders who live with a rare condition, and the people who care for them. RDNZ offers a platform and connector hub to link people to information and rare disorder groups specific to their disorder and helps people navigate the health system. RDNZ provides a strong, unified voice to advocate for public health policy and a future healthcare system that works for those with rare disorders.  RDNZ continues to advocate for a national framework for rare disorders in New Zealand. https://www.raredisorders.org.nz/

The New Zealand Cancer Society Te Kāhui Matepukupuki o Aotearoa

We support and collaborate with the New Zealand Cancer Society to ensure the voices of those affected by head and neck cancer are heard. We have worked with the society to produce a handbook for patients. The Society Nurses distribute our brochures and patient planners to newly diagnosed patients. https://www.cancer.org.nz/

Patient Voice Aotearoa

Patient Voice Aotearoa (PVA) is a national collective of disease and illness advocacy organisations, as well as individuals throughout New Zealand. The primary function of PVA is to advocate for the rights of New Zealand patients. https://www.facebook.com/patientvoiceaotearoa

My Life Matters campaign

My Life Matters focuses on increased investment and timely access to medicines to cater to the growing healthcare needs of the New Zealand population and to keep up with the rest of the OECD.

They want to ensure patient-focused wellbeing benefits are included in decision-making processes on medicines investment by the New Zealand Government. https://www.mylifematters.org.nz/

The Head and Neck Cancer Foundation Aotearoa

Our mission is to improve the outcomes for patients affected by cancer in the head and neck area. By raising funds to support education and research we hope to better understand these cancers with the ultimate aim of developing more effective and less invasive treatment. https://www.headandneckcancer.org.nz/
