The Head and Neck Cancer Support Network Trust revised board chair job description.

We are seeking an alllied board chair.

Kia ora friends,

The Head and Neck Cancer Support Network Trust is looking for someone special from within our own community to step into the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees. This is a unique opportunity for one of us to guide the Network with passion, purpose, and a deep understanding of what it means to live with or support someone through head and neck cancer.

✨ What Makes This Role Special?
This is more than a governance role—it’s a chance to lead with heart and help shape the future of support for our community. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team to ensure we stay true to our mission of connection, advocacy, and support.

📋 Who Are We Looking For?
We need someone who:

Has lived experience with head and neck cancer or a background in related healthcare.
Brings strong leadership skills and a love for collaboration.
Believes in inclusivity, equity, and cultural responsiveness.
💡 How Can You Help?
If you feel called to this role—or if you know someone in our community who would be perfect—please get in touch! You can find the full job description in the group files or by messaging me directly.

As for me, I’m stepping aside from this role to focus on governance, advocacy, and fundraising—but I’m excited to support the next leader in this vital role.

📅 Applications close 7 December 2024 5pm Email to headandnecknetwork@gmail.com

Let’s ensure the future of the Network is led by someone with the heart, experience, and vision to make a real difference. Together, we’ve achieved so much—let’s keep moving forward! 💙
